The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi unveiled the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Rajkot Fort, Sindhudurg, Maharashtra.He also paid homage to the rich maritime heritage of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Shri Modi also paid floral tributes to the statue and took a walkthrough of the photo gallery.

Born in 1884 in Bihar , Rajendra Prasad was the first President of India from 1950 to 1962.He was a politician and supporter of Mahatma Gandhi and contributed in Quit India movement.
